Portal 2 Co-op

Does anybody out there want to play co-op? (non-steam version)

I’m looking for someone to play with, no matter where you’re from (as long as you speak either English or Portuguese). We can play and talk via Skype.

If you’re interested, tell me.

Custom maps will receive a warm welcome.

Surprise! Oh, come on.

As mentioned a couple of days ago, I said there was going to have a surprise. Indeed it will.

I’ve made a third {and final} version of my script for Portal 2. Do you know the Split Screen feature for the game’s pc version?

If you do, you’re ok and don’t need this last script.

On the other hand, if you don’t, this is one interesting post for you. I’m not saying too much because the tag split screen speaks for itself.

Now, the second part of the susrprise (yes, there is a second part!):

I’ve made all of the three scripts available for Steam version.
Yes! Exactly what you thought! If you’re a Steam user, and would like to try one of my scripts, you can now.

For the NonSteam version, you’d have to place them in your portal2.exe folder. For the Steam version, however, you should place them in your steam.exe folder. (i.e. [YOUR_DRIVE]:\Program Files\Steam)

Sadly I haven’t had the chance to try it out yet. If you are interested in testing it, I’m gladly accepting some test subjects for error witnessing. As soon as it’s tested and working appropriately, I’ll release its link.

Portal 2 - A 2nd script

I’m thinking about writing another Portal 2 NonSteam script only for the multiplayer menu.

Will write the first lines and then I come back here.

Edit 16:33

I’ve written an alternative script to launching Portal 2 NonSteam COOP Mode.
Personally, I think it is way easier to deal with, and does not take that huge amount of time that the first one did.

Please note that since it is a “short version” of the first one, I didn’t have to add any info to the readme.txt file. You can download it by clicking here.
